If you follow supermodel Karlie Kloss on Instagram -2014, you know she’s been on a mission to learn how to code. Now, she’s putting those recently acquired skills to good use by joining, a nonprofit seeking to encourage girls and women to embrace computer science. On Monday, the organization will be launching its Hour of Code campaign as part of Computer Science Education Week, an annual initiative aimed at teaching the basics of programming to young people around the world. As part of the campaign, Apple stores worldwide will be hosting free one-hour coding workshops on December 11, and throughout the week, 100 classrooms in the U.S. will have the chance to participate in live video Q&As with tech titans including Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg, Tumblr founder David Karp, Ashton Kutcher, and rookie coder Kloss. So take a page from the supermodel and sign up for your hour of code now—and don’t be surprised if in the near future your order of Karlie’s Kookies arrives via drone.
