What do Teens Read?

Shadow and bone / Leigh Bardugo.5jaune  Shadow and Bone is written with amazing skills and the story keeps the reader in suspense. Alina Satrkov is a soldier in a surveying unit, having grown up as an orphan with her best friend, Mal, who works as a military tracker. When they are on a voyage where they need to cross the Shadow Fold, a swath of near impenetrable darkness crawling with monsters who feast on human flesh, Alina’s regiment is attacked and her best friend is brutally injured. Alina then reveals a dormant power that saves his life—a power that could be the key to setting her war-ravaged country free. Miriam

5bleu  Divergent is a wonderfully written book exploring all the topics that arise conflict in our everyday world. We see the main character, Tris, face many important decisions and deal with the consequences of her choices. She learns more and more about herself, as she discovers the truth behind the strange happenings that are occurring near her. Sara
5vertIn the second book of the divergent series, Insurgent, we see Tris dealing with loss and guilt, because of what happened in the previous book. Tris overcomes many impossible obstacles, with the help of her boyfriend, Four, and comes out of them alive, like a warrior! Sara

2starsLivre Allegiant is definitely not one of the best books that Veronica Roth has written. Quite frankly, I was disappointed, because I expected it to be at the caliber of the past two books. Tris goes through a series of confusing events, while making a many of bad decisions. The plot is badly explained and structured, with many confusing details. This book left a sour note on the series, even though the first two novels were excellent. Sara

4bleusIt was a great book. It had the perfect mix of action, adventure and also had characters youLivre could really get to know. That huge twist towards the end of the book couldn’t be any better. During the breaks from the action got a little boring at times. Other than that it was a great book. Tarran

Livre4vert  The second book in the series. It was really interesting to see all the new creatures and monsters that were introduced into this book. I only rated it a 4 because at some parts it was just too cliché. Otherwise the combination of suspense and adventure was great.Tarran

multi  Livre  Not the best book in the series. There’s a lot of sad and messed up stuff that happened in this book. If you want to get the references in future books then you should read it. Other than that, it’s particularly not my favourite.  Tarran

5jaune  Product DetailsThis is the best book in the series in my opinion . All the action and adventure during the book is really, really good. At the end there is an amazing event that takes place. If you are ever going to read a book of this series I would recommend this one. Tarran

Livre5vert  The whole entire series was leading up to this book. Now if you’re not one for large battles then you shouldn’t read this book. But if you are, this is the book for you. All the combat and stuff that happens in this book is great. Through out the whole series you learn a lot of facts on Greek Mythology, too bad the series now comes to end. If you love this series, than lucky you there’s a second series but I don’t it will be better than this one. Tarran
Livre  5jaune  I loved the book and the trilogy entirely. All the action and new mythology Rick Riordan added through out this book always kept me on the edge of my seat…or well bed. In my opinion, this was a great book and really informs and enlightens you on Egyptian Mythology. Tarran
Livre4mauve  The story really picks up in this book. The siblings start to construct a home for other egyptian god descents, but a new threat arises and it puts the world at risk. It is up to Sadie and Carter to put an end to it. Not the best book, but it is still very good in terms of fictional mythology. Tarran

4bleus  It was a pretty cool book. We start to see Sadie’s girly side with her insecurities and who she loves. To be honest it wasn’t very all that interesting when you first start but later on the story goes in to a full flight and the adventure and action become very good. The whole series was really good and I learned a lot from it too.

Livre4rose  The book was awesome. I really liked the new main characters they added instead of the usual Percy Jackson. I also really liked how the story was boring at first and made me want to stop reading but then the adventure really took off into full flight and I couldn’t put the book down. When the characters went to Quebec, they really did a good job on describing the city. Tarran
Livre5bleu  In this book, it shows what happened to Percy Jackson. They show a different part of this fictional/fantasy world that you probably have never thought to have existed. When he arrives at this place, he is met by two people; Hazel and Frank. He later has adventures with them and tries to regain his memory. Tarran
5étoiles  SLivreo Percy finally finds Annabeth and Jason reunites with his camp. But this takes a turn for the worse because the leader of the roman camp declares war on the Greeks. So the 7 young adventurers escape the camp on bad terms. I find the way the author portrayed the characters were really well and all the adventure on the way is amazing. I personally love this book. Tarran

Livre5orange While Percy and Annabeth are in Tartarus, their friends try and find the house of Hades for a chance to bring them back. This book kept me at the edge of my seat at all times. I like how we learn more about Hazel’s past and all of the action and fighting that happens throughout the book. Truly my favourite out of the Heroes of Olympus series. Tarran

Livre5bleu This book is where the whole story accumulates to. Fighting the giants and making them disappear once and for all. The final stand happens on the Acropolis between the Giant leaders and the 7 adventurers. Too bad the story ends here. I really enjoyed the final fight and the fight between the 2 camps. A major thing happens at the end and it’s really sad. Tarran
