If you go to school in Pointe-Claire and are a member of the library, you can become a library volunteer. Those aged 12 to 17 are welcome to join. Help make the library a great place for teens. Bring your friends!

ASSISTING WITH CHILDREN’S ACTIVITIES
We can work out a schedule that works for you. Earn volunteer hours by helping with a variety of children’s activities.
Write a short book review and earn 15 minutes of volunteering! Reviews will be published on the Teen Zone blog.
One Monday a month, a group of teens meets with the teen librarian to talk about how to improve the teen experience at the Pointe-Claire Public Library. Teen Council members help choose books, prepare themed book displays, and plan activities for teens. You can earn volunteer hours and get experience.
Teens earn volunteer hours by using their crafting and artistic skills to create themed decorations for the teen and children’s sections.
Share your love for reading with a Little Buddy (7 to 10 years old) one hour a week. Applicants must be willing to commit for the year in order to join this program.
ASSISTING WITH THE FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY BOOK SALE
Preparing for the Friends of the Library book sale is a great way for you to earn volunteer hours and get experience.
